📜 History & Legacy

The Weds Kranze Cerberus I was introduced in 2005 as part of Kranze's premium wheel lineup, designed specifically for VIP and luxury sport sedans. Named after the three-headed mythological guardian, the design featured a distinctive three-spoke pattern with intricate detailing.

This wheel became particularly popular in the Japanese VIP scene, often seen on Toyota Crown, Nissan Cima, and luxury German sedans. The Cerberus I was known for its aggressive deep-dish capability and lightweight forged construction.

Production ceased in 2010, making way for the Cerberus II which featured updated styling. Original Cerberus I wheels are now highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of early 2000s VIP culture.

💡 Collector's Notes

Authenticity: Due to the rarity of genuine Cerberus I wheels, replicas are common. Authentic wheels will have "Kranze" and "Weds" markings on the inner barrel, serial numbers on the face, and JWL/VIA stamps. Original center caps featured the iconic Cerberus three-headed dog logo. Expect to pay $3,000-$6,000 USD for a used set in good condition as of 2025.
