Multi-Spoke VIP Design
Elegant 5-split spoke pattern with pronounced lip, designed for luxury sedans and VIP builds
Launched in 2008 by Hotstuff, a respected Japanese wheel manufacturer known for their VIP and luxury-focused designs, the Stich Gulf quickly became a favorite in the bippu and VIP sedan scene. The name "Gulf" paid homage to racing heritage while maintaining an upscale, elegant aesthetic.
The Stich Gulf was designed during the peak of the Japanese VIP movement, when deep-dish three-piece wheels with chrome finishes dominated the scene. Its 5-split spoke design offered a perfect balance between classic elegance and modern aggressive styling, making it ideal for lowered luxury sedans.
Production ended in 2015 as VIP wheel trends shifted toward more subtle designs. However, the Stich Gulf remains highly regarded among enthusiasts who appreciate the golden era of Japanese VIP culture. Its versatile design worked equally well on domestic luxury sedans and European vehicles.
Hotstuff continues to produce wheels today, but the Stich Gulf represents a specific era of design philosophy that many collectors still seek out for period-correct VIP builds.

Rarity & Value: The Stich Gulf is moderately rare in the used market, with chrome finishes being the most sought after. Authentic wheels feature the Hotstuff logo on the center cap and stamping on the barrel. Due to the VIP scene's popularity, some reproduction versions exist—verify authenticity through JWL/VIA stamps and build quality.
Current Market: Used sets in good condition typically range from $1,800-$3,500 USD depending on size and finish. Chrome finishes command premium prices but may require re-chroming. Step-lip configurations are rarer and more valuable. These wheels are ideal for period-correct 2000s-2010s VIP builds.
